Nestled between the Kogelberg (a world heritage site) and coastal Nature Reserves lies a beautiful holiday village called Kleinmond - not far from Hermanus and Cape Town.

Kleinmond offers countless activities for holiday makers!

Situated at the foothills of the Kogelberg mountains, hiking trails suitable for beginners to experts are accessible (within walking distance) to your accommodation - and for our bird lovers there is plenty to see; including Fish Eagle, Flamingo, the famous South African Blue Crane and Sugar Birds plus many more!

The unspoilt nature of fynbos - mainly Erica’s and Protea's is unsurpassed in the region and hosts amongst others the world famous Marsh Rose which is almost extinct as well as the rarest frog species in the world, the Micro frog.

Visitors are more than often rewarded by catching a glimpse of the wild horse herd in the marshland near Kleinmond. Getting there takes adventurers the better half of the morning and the beautiful walk along the pristine coastline provides fun for the whole family.

Sight seeing is plentiful and Kleinmond is ideally located for a day's outing to nearby picnic spots or camping at the lagoon, visiting Stellenbosch, Franschhoek or Hermanus.

Whale watching is very popular from July to November and during the summer months swimming or canoeing and sunbathing at the beach (Blue flag status) offers fun for everyone!

We are looking forward to welcome you to Kleinmond and making your stay at Aye' Leibbies Lapa a wonderful experience and wishing you many happy returns!
